Denim & White Canadian Tuxedo

It's no secret that I love denim. On a typical day you'll find me in a cute pair of denim cut-offs, and when I'm heading out for dinner or drinks most of the time I'll throw on a pair of jeans and a dressier top and I actually feel really put together. I wore this outfit the other day with these shorts and thought, "why don't you just dress it up and not have to change your entire outfit for tonight," done deal.

Enter the whole dressing up thing by adding wedges and a pom-pom clutch. Floridian fancy we'll call it. This clutch is adorable and matches so many different outfits with the different pom colors. It surprisingly holds a lot as well. They list it in the description as black, I personally would call it navy. Either way I love it.

Simplicity is everything. If I'm able to rock the whole "less is more" look, I'm a happy girl. I was a little surprised when I opened this denim top after receiving it in the mail. It was described as more chambray (so don't be deceived when you order) but it came more of a denim. I actually love the top more as the denim than I would have if it was the chambray #fact.

The truth behind all of this is that we tried to get a few shots of me in the grass (somewhat picnic-esque... sans picnic blanket) and all that was actually happening was Kristy chasing me around and me looking like a school-girl that had never seen a field before. I'm just praying the grass stains come out of my jeans. Anything for the shot though, right?

Hope y'all are having a good week so far! If there are any posts you'd like to see, leave me some suggestions in the comments. It's looking like were going to have a very rainy 10 days ahead of us here in South Florida so I get to catch up on blogging a little!
