Nashville Round-Up

Happy Tuesday! Your incredibly smart friend here forgot the battery to the camera for our trip to Nashville, but we had so much fun and I still wanted to share my favorite looks and spots from the trip!

Tote || Luggage Tag || Luggage

I purchased this luggage right before I moved Sean to Philadelphia and have been obsessed ever since. I travel every 3-4 weeks so having something sturdy and well made was important as well as space. Being a blogger, I tend to grossly over pack (think like 6 pairs of shoes for a 48 hour trip to Nashville kinda of over pack, don't judge) so having space to separate shoes from clothes was important for me too.

For those of you who haven't met Sean, meet Sean! We snapped this photo before heading to dinner at Puckett's (see cute Mason Jar below) where we had some serious soul food. I had the peach glazed pork chop, and Sean had the chicken fried chicken. Both were to die for! The restaurant had live music and incredible signature cocktails, I loved the peach moonshine tea. The venue was originally an old grocery store in the mid 1900's that's now a busy little downtown hot spot. Definitely worth checking out!

The next day we woke up and headed to The Row for breakfast. It was right around the corner from our hotel and turned out to be one of my favorite spots from the weekend. They featured a mimosa that actually was almost as big as my head. Their Benedict was pretty good, but that breakfast potato casserole you see on the side was the bomb.

After brunch, we spent the day downtown on Broadway exploring more music venues and little bars. We found out that there were boat races going on at Acme, so we watched them from the rooftop and had a couple cocktails while we cheered with the rest of the crowd. Not what we had planned on doing, but it was fun! We ended up having lunch there as well. They're known for their BBQ and it surely didn't disappoint.

We went to The Southern for dinner Saturday night. I can honestly tell you that the steak I had there was one of the best ever. It was full of hickory flavor from the grill and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a really incredible steak, that's your place.

After dinner, we went back to Legend's Corner (which we actually visited the night before), but returned because we had so much fun. The band Saturday evening had the most amazing fiddler and she had the whole entire crowd dancing right along to her music. So much fun! After a few shorter lived stops on Broadway to check out the music, we headed back to the hotel for another day to come.

On Sunday, we shamelessly went back to The Row for breakfast (it was that good y'all), and decided to go explore The Gulch. The Gulch is a cute new neighborhood with shops, restaurants, and apartments right outside downtown Nashville. We spend the later part of the morning shopping and exploring the area. There is still a lot of construction in The Gulch, but what they have is adorable. The stores were super cute, and I loved how friendly everyone was!

After leaving lunch, we headed back to the hotel and it was off to the airport. Nashville was so much fun and incredibly easy to get to. I feel like I didn't get to see enough when I was there so we're already talking about heading back!

We're off to the Hamptons this weekend and I can't wait! I'll be sure not to forget my camera battery this time and snap lots of photos.
