Summer Date Night

Summer date night outfit inspiration.

You might see something missing from these photos... like maybe my date? While Sean currently lives in Philadelphia, we do see each other every 3 weeks and we make it a point to do a date night with just the two of us each time we're together. When he comes home to Florida, between visiting family and friends and trying to do all of the activities he loves in the short time span he's here, having some "us" time can be a challenge. This time for us is really special, so we usually go somewhere a bit nicer and I love dressing up for the occasion!

Throwing a heel on with something simple like jeans and a silk tank really helps to dress up an outfit. I had been obsessing over this striped pair for a while and found that they had gone on sale so of course they made their way to my closet. 😉

I'm a long time fan of 7 For All Mankind jeans because they continuously manufacture an ankle skinny that fits my body type really well. They aren't necessarily an ankle crop, but more a full length denim that I don't have to hem (which if you're short like me, you know how exciting this is). I have a dark denim in the same cut (last seen here) that I've had for 8 months and haven't noticed any fading in the wash. I also haven't found that their jeans stretch or shrink a noticeable amount which is great because I find that a lot of denim I own doesn't hold it's original shape.

I paired my 7's with this Alice and Trixie tank from Periwinkle but couldn't find it online, you can call them to order it! The detailing in the back is gorgeous and is such a fun twist on the classic shift silk tank style. In the widget above I've linked some similar tanks as well.

One of my favorite parts about living in Boca Raton is the abundance of restaurants to choose from. In this little section that Kristy and I were in, there were at least six different places to choose from all in walking distance from each other. It isn't New York City with a new spot every hundred feet, but there certainly isn't any shortage of fun places to try!

Speaking of places to try, I'm finding that a lot of people visit Delray Beach for vacation. I've been considering doing a Delray roundup of my favorite places to wine, dine, and things to do. Is that something y'all would want to see?!

Let me know, hope you have a great weekend!
