Tassels and Blue Hues

Well... we're back home and back to work after an incredible weekend in Nashville! That has got to be one of the coolest cities I've ever been to. Every corner had live entertainment and a crowd of people in awe surrounding them. We're already starting to plan our trip back to do all the things we couldn't cross off this weekend.

As notoriously Type A as I am and how I methodically cross things off my list while packing, your friend here forgot the battery to the camera... #WayToGoSam. So we're improvising and doing an iPhone round up and you'll get a more personal behind the scenes look!

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that this summer is the summer of tassels. They're everywhere - on your shoes, on your bags, on your clothes, hell they're even hanging from your ears! I've been attracted to anything with tassels because it instantly becomes cute. Oops.

Take this dress for example, before it had tassels it was just a simple, slip style dress in a pretty blue hue. Now, it's instantly cute and I had to have it just because of the fact that there are multi-colored tassels hanging from it! Basically what I'm trying to tell you is that if it has pom poms, tassels, or embroidery on it I'm like, shut up and take my money already!

Well if I'm going to buy essentially anything that has a tassel on it, at least this was under $50, right?!

Nothings tops off an amazing dress like a string of pearls. The one's I'm wearing are my personal favorite, you can wear them 6 or more ways and can layer them with so many different types of jewelry (as well as another strand of these). They're handmade locally in Delray Beach by a mother and daughter whom I adore. I picked this specific pair up from Morley, and you can shop them online here or by calling the store. There are actually 12 or more color ways this comes in as well.

Hope everyone is having a great week so far! Any big weekend plans or trips?! I'd love to hear about them!
